Wise, Generous and Supportive "Owls"

Waterside Summer Series Music Festival, a registered charity, is funded primarily from two sources - sponsorships and ticket sales. The financial support of sponsors allows the Waterside organization to offer exceptional musical presentations at affordable prices, thereby furthering the mission to provide classical music in a somewhat remote rural setting.
By becoming a sponsor, you support the mission of Waterside and you receive a charitable donation receipt for your contribution. Sponsors are also invited to the popular, post concert potluck dinners where the performers and the sponsors enjoy time together in lovely Amherst Island homes.

Because two of the major annual events on Amherst Island are the Waterside Summer Series Music Festival and the annual migration of a variety of owls, the wise, generous and thoughtful people who provide financial support to Waterside are fondly referred to as "Owls". Their "species" is determined by the amount of donation they give, from the loyal saw-whets ($100) to the stately great grey owls ($500+), and several in between. All are needed and appreciated.

Please consider becoming a Waterside Owl. Your donation can be mailed to Waterside Summer Series Music Festival, c/o Beverley Harris, 4 Front Road, Stella, ON K0H 2S0.
Thank you!

December 2017

Dear Waterside Sponsor

I’m writing to you at this time to tell you about the exciting 2018 Waterside season.  In addition, the Board hopes that you might consider ordering tickets as Christmas gifts for family members and friends.  Of course, it’s difficult to know this early what dates will work for gift recipients, so we’re happy to send you a gift certificate for any or all of the 5 concerts, so that decision can be made closer to the concert dates.

Here’s the line-up!

much more. Something new and not to be missed!

Last season you were able to order tickets from Eventbrite accessed online from the Waterside web site.  The set-up was awkward so we are working on improvements to make it much easier to order online. (When you order online, you will get a notice on your electronic device and you do not need a printed ticket. The ticket taker at the door will have a record of your purchase.) To cover increased administrative costs, the price of tickets will increase in 2018 from $35 to $37.  Waterside will absorb the Eventbrite fee so all tickets ordered online, by phone or by mail will cost $37.  This is the first increase since 2010. If you order tickets for the full season before June 1st, you’ll receive a 10% discount!

I’m looking forward to another fabulous Waterside season!
