Waterside Summer Series Music Festival (aka "Waterside") is a registered, not-for-profit charitable corporation with a mission to present excellent, primarily classical, music entertainment in the intimate setting of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church on Amherst Island. Although "Waterside" originated as a fundraiser for St. Alban's Anglican Church in 1994 and then operated in association with Loyalist Township for many successful years, the organization became totally independent after acquiring charitable status in 2016.
Amherst Island, a place of tranquility and natural beauty, is just a half-hour drive from downtown Kingston, west along the Loyalist Parkway. The ferry leaves the mainland every hour on the half-hour.
All concerts take place at St.
Paul’s, just south of Stella. Tickets cost $37 and include refreshments served during the 20-minute intermission. We have one extra-special three-hour show this 2020 season available
for $45. See below on August 15 for details! We are excited to be celebrating Beethoven's 250th birthday with this spectacular show!
Limited time offer: purchase the entire series and receive a 10% discount!

Phaeton Piano Trio
Three outstanding German artists, each with international careers. In 2018 they embarked on a cycle of recordings with works by Mendelssohn and his contemporaries, so Mendelssohn will be on the program and, of course, Beethoven! New to Waterside's stage - you'll be thrilled!
Featuring Lori Gemmell, Caroline Leonardeli, Carolyn Lizotte, and Jennifer Swartz. Another first for Waterside! We've never had
one harp on stage, let alone four major Canadian harpists! Vivaldi's Four Seasons transcribed by the Harp Quartet of Venice will make up the second half of the program with readings by
the charismatic Tom Allen. A rare event!
Special announcement: The Quartet is joined by iconic Tom Allen from CBC Radio 2.

Picnics can be enjoyed on the St. Paul's church lawn, at the picnic tables in the Village, or at Lane's End Park at the bottom of Stella 40 Foot Road. Please leave nothing behind!
