The Amherst Island Waterside Summer Series was established in 1994 to raise funds for St. Alban’s Church but is now an independent not-for-profit organization. Its goal is to present quality music in the wonderful setting of Amherst Island, a place of tranquillity and natural beauty just a half-hour drive from downtown Kingston, west along the Loyalist Parkway. The concerts take place at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, just south of Stella. Tickets cost $35 and include refreshments served during the 20-minute intermission.

A technical & interpretive master, this is a highly anticipated return of a Waterside favourite.
Tickets for all or some of these concerts would make wonderful Christmas gifts. If you like this idea, simply send your order with an accompanying cheque (tickets remain at $35 each) to Waterside, General Delivery, Stella, ON K0H 2S0. A certificate will be mailed to you before Christmas, followed by the tickets once they’re printed early in the New Year.
Over the past year Waterside became incorporated as an independent, not-for-profit charitable organization. Of prime importance is the continued ability to issue charitable donation tax receipts to our sponsors. Also, we are planning to offer on-line ticket ordering and payment for an easier, more efficient option, by March 1, 2017. Check back for changes.
The Amherst Island ferry leaves from Millhaven dock on the half-hour and from Amherst Island on the hour. St. Paul’s church is 2km straight south from the ferry dock on the Island.
These well-attended concerts are a perfect summer outing, bringing together beautiful music and a remarkable natural setting.
